In light of the horrible tragedies in Paris, Beirut, and Hevron, and probably countless places on the globe, I am reminded that we are more similar than different. At our core, we are One. We want love, peace, family, happiness, freedom to live the way we believe. We cry, we mourn. We hope. We delight in a new birth. We laugh and smile.
We are like drops of water that come from the ocean. The drops ARE the ocean. If we looked under a microscope, they would look the same. We are the same thing as our Source....God/Love/Universe. Water doesn't try to become more wet....it doesn't have to....it IS wet, BECAUSE it is water. It doesn't have to TRY to be the same as its source...it can't be anything else. It may manifest in different forms at different times, ice, steam, liquid, clouds....but it is still water. When you know that you are made of the same things as Source, you can instantly return to a state of balance, health, and innate perfection. Enjoy your unique expression, but take comfort in knowing that you are still the same as your Source....without even trying. As we move forward from these tragedies, let us remember and ban together in our similarities.
